Many pilots gain a Formation Flying Endorsement as a way to refine their flying skills and to fine tune their overall flying accuracy. Formation Flying is precision flying and requires skill and concentration. During a formation flight you will position yourself relative to the other aircraft vertically, longitudinally and laterally and safely maintain a position throughout a flight.

To commence training for a Formation Endorsement, as a minimum the pilot must hold a Private Pilot Licence (PPL)
